- Fully integrated frame, welded to the backplate for strength. Others brands rivet their awnings together instead of welding.
- Poly Cotton ripstop 3000mm waterproof canvas fabric, far superior than 600D & 900D budget canvas.
- Tie down points to allow water run off with included 4 x guy ropes.
- Black aluminium double truss arms with stainless bolts and nuts.
- Weight- 29.8kg. No shortcuts in material thickness's.
- Velcro to secure awning when rolled up.

Finally installed 270 awning today great build quality and it looks fantastic hopefully get out in a couple of weeks to see how it goes.

Feels sturdy, looks awesome, fits the Tank almost perfectly, can't use the back light because of where it sits over the tailgate on the medium height so will have to raise it up and see if that helps access the buttons. Early days but we feel good about the product and the team at OT in Brisbane were all lovely.

Absolutely Blown Away by the Outback Tourer 270 Plus Awning!
This awning completely exceeded my expectations! The quality is outstanding — far better than many of the more expensive competing brands. The brackets are super strong and stable, and the welds are clean and solid. You can really see the attention to detail.
On a recent trip, I woke up to 30-knot winds and the awning was still standing strong! (I packed it up just to be safe, but it held its ground impressively.) Setup takes about 35 seconds, and packing it away takes around 45 — it’s that easy and efficient.
I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. It’s a fantastic brand offering top-quality gear at a great price. Highly recommend the Outback Tourer 270 Plus Awning!

Another great product easy to set up and the extra material on the bag makes it even easier to pack up then other awnings I’ve used where the bag is to tight for the awning and it’s a mission to pack away
