At Outback Tourer we understand the importance of fast and reliable shipping for our clients. That's why we offer a range of shipping options to meet the diverse needs of our clients.
Standard Shipping:
Our standard shipping option delivers your order within 3-5 business days within Australia. All orders will be shipped at the quoted amount and quotes are valid for 3 days due to the fuel excise.
Expedited Shipping:
If a client needs their order sooner, they can contact us at admin@outbacktourer.com.au to get a quote for express shipping. This option is perfect for last-minute gifts or urgent orders.
In-Store Pickup:
For clients who live near our store location, we offer an in-store pickup option. Simply place your order online and choose the in-store pickup option at checkout. You'll receive an email when your order is ready, and you can pick it up at our store via appointment.
Rooftop Tent Shipping:
Our rooftop tents are larger and heavier than our other products, so we offer three shipping options for these items. Clients can choose to pick up their rooftop tent from our warehouse, have it shipped to a commercial address that has a forklift for offloading, or collect it from a freight depot. Please note that if you choose to have your rooftop tent shipped to a commercial address or freight depot, it is the recipient's responsibility to offload the item at the depot and dispose of any pallets and rubbish.

Shipping Protection Policy
At Outback Tourer, we want your order to arrive safe and ready for your next adventure. While we pack every item carefully, sometimes things can happen during transit. To give you peace of mind, we offer Shipping Protection to cover your order against loss or damage.
What Shipping Protection Covers
✅ Damage
- If your product arrives damaged, defective, or unusable due to shipping, we’ll replace it at no cost once the damage is verified.
- The damaged item will need to be boxed and returned to us. We’ll provide a return label, and your replacement will be dispatched as soon as the damaged item is in transit.
- Note: This coverage applies to product damage only, not to packaging damage.
- If item is taken from depot it needs to be returned to depot.
✅ Loss
- If your order is lost in transit and confirmed undeliverable by the carrier, we’ll replace your order.
✅ Peace of Mind, Guaranteed
· Enjoy your gear knowing that you’re fully covered from the moment it leaves our warehouse.
✅ Covers Accidental Damage in Transit
· Even if the courier bumps or drops your item, you’re protected.
What’s Not Covered
❌ Orders delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer
❌ Minor cosmetic damage to packaging (if the product itself is unaffected)
❌ Delivery delays due to the carrier or customs processing
❌ Items left unattended after confirmed delivery (even if safe place instructions were provided)
❌ Theft of items marked delivered by the freight company
How to Make a Claim
1. Notify us within 24 hours of delivery (or the expected delivery date if lost).
2. Provide proof – photos of damage, your order confirmation, or carrier tracking number.
3. We’ll review and process your claim within 3–5 business days.
Cost of Shipping Protection
- Shipping Protection is available at checkout for a small fee based on your order value.
- If declined, Outback Tourer cannot be held responsible for damage, loss, or theft once the order has left our warehouse.
