• OUR STORY

    We are a small local business taking our camping and 4wd passion and turning it into a career. Outback Tourer was an idea talked about around a couple of campfires by a father, son and best mate. This later turned into hefty research and development with our products. Creating a company we truly believe in followed.

    We consist of a Fabricator - Chris Plumber - Locky and an Electrician - Christian. We all work full time in the construction industry while continuing to grow Outback Tourer. Together we have crossed the Simpson desert, explored Cape York, crossed the Savanna way and tackled Fraser Island to name a few. We all also drive tough tracks in between. We know what it means to be able to rely on your setup and camp gear to get you through Australia’s harsh conditions.
