Can I see the products in person?

Yes! We have physical store locations where you can view and test our range. Visit our Contact page for store addresses and opening hours.

Where is my fitting kit?

Fitting kits will be stored inside the tent from factory. Tents are checked over and weighed to ensure all neccassary parts are included. On the off chance you fitting kit is not supplied; please contact our team and we can send one out to you. 

How do I know if a product will fit my vehicle?

Product specifications and fitment requirements can be found on the product page. If you're unsure, contact our team and we'll help point you in the right direction.

Are spare parts available?

Yes. We carry a range of spare parts and replacement components for many of our products. Contact our team if you require any assistance. 

Can I contact someone before purchasing?

Absolutely. Our team is happy to answer any questions and help you choose the right product for your setup.

Installation

Do you offer installation?

No. Outback Tourer does not offer installation services.

Can I install the products myself?

Many of our products can be installed at home using basic tools. Installation requirements vary between products, so please refer to the product information or contact our team if you're unsure.

Can you recommend an installer?

Absolutely. We have a network of trusted fitters located around Australia and can help connect you with one in your area.

Can you ship my order directly to my installer?

Yes. We can ship your order directly to your chosen fitter or installer, making the process as easy as possible.

How do I find a fitter near me?

Simply get in touch with our team and we'll point you towards a recommended fitter in your area. Alternatively, you're welcome to arrange installation through your own preferred fitter.

Orders & Shipping

How long does delivery take?

Delivery times vary depending on your location and product availability. Most in-stock items ship within 1–3 business days.

Can you deliver to my house?

Most orders can be delivered directly to residential addresses. However, rooftop tents must be delivered to a commercial address or your nearest freight depot due to freight carrier requirements.

Do you offer shipping insurance?

Yes, shipping insurance is available to protect your order in transit. Please contact us for details or ask at checkout.

Returns & Refunds

What is your returns policy?

We accept returns on eligible items within 30 days of purchase, provided they are unused and in original packaging. Please review our full Returns & Refund Policy or contact us to initiate a return.

What if my item arrives damaged?

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos and your order number. We'll arrange a replacement or refund promptly.

Warranty

What warranty do your products come with?

All Outback Tourer rooftop tents come with a 2-Year Warranty. Our awnings are covered by a 12-month warranty against defects in materials or workmanship. All warranties are backed by your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

What is NOT covered by the warranty?

The warranty does not cover issues resulting from:

  • Unauthorised modifications or repairs
  • Commercial, rental, or permanent residential use
  • Neglect, misuse, overloading, or improper towing
  • Environmental damage (hail, saltwater, extreme weather)
  • Water ingress, flooding, or pest infestation
  • Normal wear and tear (fabrics, canvas, seals, upholstery)
  • High-pressure cleaning or use of harsh chemicals
  • Failure to follow the required service schedule

How do I make a warranty claim?

To lodge a warranty claim, please contact our team with the following:

  • Proof of purchase (invoice or receipt)
  • A detailed description of the defect
  • Clear photographs of the issue
